In point of fact, when travelling economy class with Continental, I have often requested that I be allowed to board with the first class passengers in order to get my guitar stowed early and out of the way of other passengers before they board, and this has never been denied me. As I have also flown with them more than a dozen times over the last five years, both internationally and internally in the US, and I have never had any of their staff ever question me about the guitars, I think I can speak with some authority about Continental and their policies. but be aware, that is not Continentals set and standard policy.actually Don, it is their set and standard policy, according to their customer services department less than a month ago when I flew from Newark to Glasgow with not one, but two carried on guitars.
Well, I am glad it always works for you, Dave. Your experience of them may vary - but I would be very surprised, as many of my guitar playing friends have switched to using Continental because of my positive experiences with them
